I made this laundry sorter based upon a potting bench DIY plan I saw on Ana White's website. I did change the dimensions and materials. Each person in our family has their own basket for dirty clothes. The top is the perfect place to fold clothes and the top shelf allows for supplies to be close at hand.
What dimensions did you use for this build?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry but it was so long ago and I don't have that piece anymore - we left it at the house when we sold it. But I would say that is about 5 feet wide by 20" deep and about 36" tall (to the table part). I really took the basic idea from Ana White's potting table and measured for my laundry baskets. Hope that helps.

This 3-bin cart allows me to sort the laundry as we go each day. The heavy duty removable bins I can just dump into the washer and go. Industrial framework and rolling casters allow me to move a large and heavy amount of laundry around with ease. I can roll it from room to room and even roll it out on to the patio to hang laundry on the line. I can sort the clean laundry into the separate bins for everyone to put away as laundry is finished. The bins are very easy to clean and maintain. Assembly is a breeze. I do recommend using a power driver to assemble to save some time as the bolts are very long. Over all this product is a great and has a very nice price tag. Budget friendly all the way!
